Wouldn't that depend on if the crew started surfing on the deck???

Almost every country with a coastline, in the entire world, has surfing as a sport.

My mom was semi-pro when I was a kid; she surfed up until the eighth month of pregnancy with me. :D

No doubt. She loved it. The water here is really too polluted, and you have the flesh-eating bacteria to worry about if the water temp gets over about 85 degrees (which it does quite regularly here). I havent been in the ocean since my visit to Cali in '99. :madashell:

I couldn't live that close to the ocean without being able to use it. I bought my house specifically because of its proximity to the shore.

I lived on the beach, in a tent for two months; never once set foot in that crap. I'll take the Pacific or Atlantic any day over the oversized hot-tub that is the Gulf of Mexico.

My city is on the coast although my house is pretty inland. A 15 minute drive through town to the beach, yet I havent been in years...

My house is about 15/20 minutes to the beach, but it's too fracking cold and rainy over here to ever go down to it.

Isn't your beach a bunch of rocks anyways? Not too comfortable, I imagine.

Sugar-sand beaches over here... I'm a 2-minute drive to the bay, 5 to the ocean. We don't have 200-foot visibility in the water like Mark, though...

The area near me is sandy.
