Were any stats for the Vesta or Luna classes ever produced?

Ambassador class, border patrol. Say what you want, I like that ship - it's like a cross between a Connie and a GCS.

My only condition would be that the bridge should look more like this than like this, befitting a properly sized ship. ;)

I didn't really have an issue with the E-C's bridge - I thought it was suitably post-movie, pre-TNG-ish.

BTW, where's that first shot from? Is that supposed to be our Daystrom?

To me it looked like more of a spartan, ship of the week bridge rather than a real midpoint between the E-A / E-B and E-D.

No, I think that's coincidental. :P

The Vesta-class is from Star Trek: Destiny like the USS Aventine.

Vesta-class
-Length: 670 meters (Mark Rademaker)
-Crew: 750 (Gods of Night)
-Armament: Mark XII Phaser Cannons, Quantum Torpedoes (Mere Mortals, Lost Souls)
-Maximum Warp Speed: 9.99 (Mere Mortals)
-Other technologies: Quantum Slipstream Drive (Mere Mortals, Lost Souls, A Singular Destiny)
-Unit Run: USS Vesta (presumed), USS Aventine (Destiny trilogy, ASD), USS Galen, USS Esquilinie, USS Achilles, and at least six more ships. (A Singular Destiny)

A bit, yeah. Though, for a next-gen explorer (late 24th century), all of that tech is available. Starfleet could theoretically build a ship like that.

I guess so... It still just seems out of place since they're using some tech that is uber yet ignoring other tech.

Like ablative armor? I'd have that on every new vessel, regardless of cost. The threats present warrant the best in protection for any new Starfleet ship, unless they just consider the crew expendable...

If I'm not mistaken, the Vesta class and the Luna class are a return to explorers, and they aren't combat ships. Likely the powers that be decided that for some unfathomable reason, explorers wouldn't need armor.
