I do wonder how long Tally will Tag along. After all she hasn't really disobayed any orders(and although threatened by Rochey has actually followed every order), and isn't officially under the command of the Daystrom's officer's, and could easily talk her way out of a court martial.

I will reveal something of Talora's shadowy nature. Some may have guessed it already. She Detests being Romulan. She hates every fibre of her Romulan genetics. And she tries at every opportunity to be completely different to her Race. A Romulan would try to talk and work their way out of it. Talora will not.

And Blacky is really the only friend or only relation Talora has. Anywhere.

Actualy, that's a very good point. I never actualy forbid her from telling you what was going on, and she did hand over the child, eventualy, so it might not even come to a court martial.
