Aye, you have a point there, they can be a very useful asset to getting the details of beaurocracy working. I imagine waking up with a horse's head in your bed would encourage people to pay their taxes on time.

In our new spirit of staying on track, maybe Ireland should hire la casa nostra to "send a message" to the EU.

Yeah, but wouldn't the EU have to take a few guys prisoner first, and then set them on a hunger strike? I thought that's how you have to start up the IRA.

Nah. We have to have an incredibly badly planned uprising that ends up causing lots of collatoral damage to the civilian populace. Then the EU needs to execute all the leaders,which will make the populace turn against them.
Leave for a few years, and voila: one uprising.
