Not gonna happen. From what I've been reading this last day the general thought with conservatives is they want to move more RIGHT.A) She remains the same as she is now, and keeps the same policies. Since the Republican party will likely move slightly to the left to gather new votes over the coming years, she may well be too far right for the majority of its target base, and thus won't get in.

What does defeat mean to you?
Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

What is a conservative to Europeans, or anyone else for that matter? I've heard this before that the U.S. right-wingers would be extreme-righties in Europe, and that European right-wingers would be lefties in the U.S.

Well, taking just Ireland for example, the Democrats could nicely sub in for one of our farther-right groups. As Teaos' graph pointed out, people like Obama and Biden just barely fall into line with our farthest-right groups. People like McCain and Palin would be labeled as theocratic fascists by every newspaper and political group in the country. What is a conservative to Europeans, or anyone else for that matter? I've heard this before that the U.S. right-wingers would be extreme-righties in Europe, and that European right-wingers would be lefties in the U.S.

Brian Moore ran for President?
Never seen it on a graph before, but I was certain Bob Barr would appear to be Libertarian, as he was chosen to represent the Libertarian Party. This certainly is an eye-opener. Chuck Baldwin is a right-winger.
I took a Political Compass test a year and a half ago. Alway kept it around because I assumed I would be a leftist liberal. Like Brian Moore. This is what it looked like:

Sweden here I come.

Here's some more examples of where certain important people stand:

Interesting to note that Bush is effectively a more right-wing version of Mugabe.
And where do I stand?

I must be Rochey's long-lost American cousin.

Here's mine, though it would be different if they had a "don't care" option.
Ok, trounle linking, so I'll just give the stats.
Economic Left/Right: -5.00
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -1.03
Basically, in the green, but close to the middle.

Re: Call the US election
I'm sure they do it purposefully, to force you to choose one way or the other. Otherwise, someone could choose "don't care" or "don't know" to any of the questions they're sorta on the fence on and they couldn't get any real results. It's assumed that any subtler inclinations would come through when you're forced to choose at gunpoint, so to speak.stitch626 wrote:Here's mine, though it would be different if they had a "don't care" option.
