A small city? Baltimore feels small when you stand on a carrier.

Baltimore IS small. And the crabs are overrated compared to New Jersey blueclaws.

I never got the sense of "city" because I was on a ship with maybe 5 planes and a chopper on deck. The majority of the flight deck was a huge, sweeping vista of flat, open space.

You need to stand somewhere with a full air wing moving around you. Then you'll know what a city on the sea feels like.

Go to a Drag Car Race and stand next to the lanes when one of the Nitro Cars flys passed. Thats pretty close to what it feels like.

Wow, that sucks...

What do you do when you want to see people risk their lives in a meaningless practice that gains them nothing but a chance to die in a horrible crash just for the crowd's enjoyment?

That the danger is what makes it fun...

Whats the point of risk if you risk nothing.
