Aahhh.....the memories
They say that in the Army,
the women are mighty fine.
They look like Phyllis Diller,
and walk like Frankenstein.

What really helps me is my skill at visualization and attention to detail. I can remember what each girl I've been with looks like, down to birthmarks, etc. :D

Curse you all and your boob-filled childhoods! In the spirit of jealousy, I'd like to turn this thread back on topic.

I bought a new PC:
It's a Hewlitt Packard 6650f
AMD Phenom X4 Quad-core Processor @ 2.2 gHz
6 GB of RAM
500GB Hard Drive
DVD Burner with lightscribe,
HP Photosmart Essential
Power Button (seriously, my old computer only started up when you pushed reset, and it never shut down properly. Also, "Power Button" is listed on the side as a feature 8) )

AND I bought Spore. And it runs great!

After a little bit, I'll upgrade the graphics card, but for now it's nothing special.

MEANWHILE, My macbook's integrated video camera LED is stuck on, and it makes me REALLY paranoid that Big brother's watching me. I love the thing, but this is an annoying problem. I don't understand what's going on... I started up Photo Booth, which uses the camera, and it wasn't showing any picture, so I fear something might be toast. Laptops are a pain in the ass to take apart, too. I'm hoping Apple installed an immune system in my computer so the problem will fix itself.

8) Yes indeed. It wasn't that expensive either - $700 for the whole computer, with windows vista home premium, which by itself is like $200. I'm pretty sure I can't build an equivalent computer for that cheap, and I live in the Silicon Valley. I haven't upgraded in YEARS, so it was time.

It sounds like something is using it, if so they Photobooth would not be able to use it at the same time. Try the following:

- Shut down the machine.
- Remove the battery.
- Wait for about 20-30 seconds.

You can then replace the battery and start the machine back up again, this will reset the System Management Controller.
Hope this helps
