Back on subject, added the Spathi captain to the list of characters.

None. They always surrender right before they finish the job and never tell you why.

Dude, is Fwiffo going to join the cast? Awesome. A scene with him and Roland would be awesome.

Just for reference to anyone who writes for him, think Woody Allen, or Sol Rosenberg from The Jerky Boys. But more cowardly.

I'd like for him to. He's an NPC so he's killable and all but he's so cool :P
Got a post up. I bet Fwiffo has some information on the Ur-Quan but it might take a few hours to discover it :P

Deep - I put the "rebellion" responses where they belong, complete and unedited. No prob with anything you said, just with having them here.

Indeed. Keep it to the one thread, both of you.

Little late to the party, guys.

I appreciate the support though, really.

While I can't say I'd give a shit what monroe wants...

I'd be fine with keeping it to its thread if he'd stop running away.

Well, we'll deal with that over there, then.

Right, I'm making a decree. Any more posts on the aforesaid subject will be split from this thread. Keep it to the one thread.

What? I'm the one who moved the posts. But I appreciate the support, Tsu. :P

But, yeah - I like that Fwiffo character. Ashok, on the other hand, might be debating whether or not just to skip the Ur-Quan and kill the Spathi instead...

I myself am still a little fuzzy on what to expect from the Replicators. Would we notice a slow degradation of the Asgard ship first, or just important systems gone missing, or could we expect an attack on ourselves?

Huron-Fel is of the opinion we should just kill both of them off.

More likely some of the crew will notice problems. At which point they won't be hard to find. Advanced sensors couldn't track them... but motions detectors can. Either way, finding them isn't the hard part. Killing all of them off is. Miss just one and you have to start over again.

That was another question I had mentioned earlier. I know energy weapons are ineffective against replicators, but projectile weapons can break them apart. But could acid or fire (like, I don't know, from Hellfire or inferno bolts?) actually damage the little component blocks?

Yes, they can be damaged beyond self repair with KE weapons. Fire is mostly useless. Acid is highly effective.

Well right now they don't know they've been compromised so they're staying in small numbers. Replicators have showed intelligence in the past of not eating their ride and using a ride to find better feeding grounds. That's what these Replicators are trying to do. So for now they'll stay quiet. But soon as they're discovered they'd begin to multiply. First taking over sensors, then transporters, then navigational. I think that's how they usually go about it.
