The clock is not a bad idea if you are the type to shut it off and then fall back to sleep... but if one of the pieces falls behind the night stand/dresser or bounces under the bed... It would not take long for me to break this clock.

Or just unplug it.

There is one that when it goes off it rolls around on wheels until you catch it.

Personally, having an alarm that you have to get up to turn off works just as good.

I just put mine on the other side of the bedroom, out of reach of the bed. It's pretty ordinary though it has dual alarms and a rather big display.

Of course, half the time it's really one of the cats meowing for his breakfast that gets me up. There's no snooze button there; he'll persist until fed.

That is what I got too. Big face and text so I can easily see the time and two alarms which is awesome. One for the weekday and the other for the weekend. It also has a USB charge port but I have found that it doesn't charge a Galaxy S-5.

Yeah, my alarm's on the other side of the room. Get up, turn it off, curse its existence/inventor and go about my day.

I usually have a wake up call service. Hard to ignore someone calling you.

I do it all the time.

Here's the runaway alarm clock. It goes off and then runs away. You have to catch it before you can turn it off. You can't turn it off at the wall because it's not plugged in.

I'd be chasing that damned thing down with a baseball bat within a week.

I think I would purposely place it where it would get stuck and can't move. Thus defeating the purpose.
