Re: Crossover OOC Discussion
Dothude is about a foot too tall and 150 lbs to heavy. And thats not counting his armor and weapons. Though, his camo abilities could allow him to follow the ground party. Out of sight, out of mind. Plus having some plasma weaponry that also acts like a sniper's weapon could come on handy.

Good thinking. Personally I can't wait to use Turok's Cerebral Bore againDeepcrush wrote:Dothude is about a foot too tall and 150 lbs to heavy. And thats not counting his armor and weapons. How many Minbari does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
None. They always surrender right before they finish the job and never tell you why.

Re: Crossover OOC Discussion
The Eldar could be helpful in that too. He could stay at far greater ranges then Dothude. The best I've seen a Plasma Caster's best range I've seen is about 100m in jungle. Maybe twice that at best. The Eldar use a projectile weapon is able to no scope at the max range of a lasgun. Which is 400m.
Dothude is the hardest hitter we could put on the ground but he's got a range problem. The Eldar has range but lacks hitting power. The two combined should work well together.

Sounds good. If they can find a relatively tall tower they can support multiple teams.
I'm thinking our landing guys:
Cain
Jurgen
Turok
Bauer
Roland
Iceman
Belgarion (if we can prod Mark)
Dietrich
Kallen (though since she has that battle suit she could wear she might be better left on board)
Master Chief (maybe in a CP or Overwatch uniform)
Plus maybe two Star fleet teams. One led by Val'chav. Another by a yet unnamed Starfleet officer. Or we could mix Starfleet with the heroes?
And then the sniper team of the Predator and Eldar.
That's my thinking.

Re: Crossover OOC Discussion
Dude, sounds solid but I would make the teams smaller. The Combine might notice a ten man team. Even more so out in the wastes. I would go no larger then 4, maybe 5. IMO.

Yeah that sounds good. Maybe 3 teams of 5? (extra slots filled by Starfleet).Deepcrush wrote:Dude, sounds solid but I would make the teams smaller. The Combine might notice a ten man team. Even more so out in the wastes. I would go no larger then 4, maybe 5. IMO.

Re: Crossover OOC Discussion
Agreed. Teams of five can spread out in a much smaller area while staying withing eyesight of each other.

Re: Crossover OOC Discussion
Oh, another thing is that a 5 man team is easier for one person to keep track of vs having to cover 15 all at once.
Have one team watch the LZ. The other two teams spread out through the city. Dothude covers one, the Eldar covers the other.

Re: Crossover OOC Discussion
Aye, that sounds good. We've got 10 main characters that can pass as human, so one team consisting of four main characters and one Redshirt and two consisting of three main characters and 2 redshirts will be good. And perhaps another team or two composed purely of redshirts.
Oh, and just to let you guys know, the Combine have quite a dress code going on. Anyone not wearing the standard civilian uniform is probably going to attract a lot of attention.
Hope y'all like blue.

I don't think Jack or Roland give two sh*ts about what they wear as long as they can get the job done.Rochey wrote:...Hope y'all like blue.

Re: Crossover OOC Discussion
Well, Arawden and Dothude will be going incognito (read, "hiding somewhere unseen and shooting people") so that shouldn't be a problem. I also like the idea of smaller teams for all the reasons mentioned. Also, having a separate team to watch the LZ means that if bigger guns do need to come in to cover the extraction, there is a place to land them safely.

I say leave a team of redshirts at the LZ. That or just transport Huron into the water. He can just wait there until needed.

That was my thought. Just park him there and then head out.

...and if we need more mobile firepower to protect the exfiltration, we have the Transformers and the Astartes.
