Hunting anything with a .600 Nitro isn't sporting. Some may consider it "sport," but it isn't sporting in the sense of an honorable, decent pittance of hunter vs. prey. It would only be so if the hunted party also had a firearm.

You've given me an unusual image of a deer wielding a submachine gun....
Anyway, i think stitch has it down. The hunters are honourable by their own definition, even if we can't see it as honourable at all.

I suppose that's true, but it's tantamount to saying, "We don't understand them, so we can't discuss it." Of course we're going to discuss their honor (or lack thereof) in our own terms, as we're the ones discussing it. I love it when during a debate someone tells me, "Well, that's just your opinion." I generally answer, "Of course it is - who else's would I have to offer?"

Or as Worf once put it, honour is that which results in victory.Reliant121 wrote:You've given me an unusual image of a deer wielding a submachine gun....![]()

I think people constantly forget that Preds are Warriors looking for a glorious death in battle (ala Klingons). They are hunters, bound by rules, that are looking for the greatest trophy (ala Native Americans).
