Well, first off, let's figure out which of us would gain from Staplic's death.

I don't think I would have gained anything from him, I mean he wasn't saying anything about me, He wasn't really saying much IIRC, He said he suspected Rochey at one point, So it seems you would gain from it. But it would also make you extremely suspicious, so, would he risk being made to look extremely suspicious. I highly doubt it, does any one else have any thoughts on it?

I really can't see that anyone appears to gain from Staplic's death. But appearences are often decieving.

We also have to keep in mind that it could just have been murder for the sake of murder. Staplic didn't say much. The Founder could have just killed him as a way of knocking down our numbers without drawing suspicion to themselves. It's quite possible that no one had anything to gain from it.
