Re: Find the Founders III
Do you know how to make an automated security bot?
What does defeat mean to you?
Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

Re: Find the Founders III
Well... no.
I guess I kinda jumped the gun on that idea.

Re: Find the Founders III
Given the lack of hyposprays, we're just going to have to take our chances, I guess.
There is only one way of avoiding the war – that is the overthrow of this society. However, as we are too weak for this task, the war is inevitable. -L. Trotsky, 1939

um... I might be able to rig something rudamentry here, but with the tools available to me it soul be very hard for even the best electronics engineer to make anything seriously complex. But I'll see what I can whip up

This may take a while, and it most like won't work, I was never taught how to do THESE kinds of things.
:: ten minutes later::
Ok we have something, it will tell us exactly how many humans we have on the station, that's all, won't tell me anything more than that, so if we decide to get rid of someone we can check if we still have the same amount of humans or less.

Ok, and that helps our current situation how?
I'm getting to tired to think clearly. I think I am going to sleep.

Re: Find the Founders III
It doesn't help the current situation but maybe after someone thinks they know something we can throw them out and discover if we have killed a founder or human, because we don't have windows near the airlocks on this station
I guess they never expect these things to happen to people, do they?

Re: Find the Founders III
With regards to guarding ourselves, we're just going to have to take our chances and appoint guards. There are six of us left, right? So how about we do three shifts of two people? It ain't perfect, but it should limit the chances of a Founder getting by undetected.

Re: Find the Founders III
That sounds good to me, Rochey.
Gentlemen, with all due respect I can't say I trust anyone at this point. I have to assume you all feel similarly, so any reassurance that I'm innocent would be meaningless. Since I slept so late, I wouldn't mind taking the first shift once we go to sleep.
Someone asked how I slept through the alert Klaxon... I do have a history of very heavy sleep, if you want to check my medical history. If we all get out of this alive, I'm seriously afraid of the pranks you'll all dream up while I sleep.

I'll remember that when we do get out of this, which I am bwing very optimistic saying when, and I trust almost no one, actually I don't trust anyone but myself, at least I can assuredely tell myself that I'm not a founder

Re: Find the Founders III
All was quiet. Some light snoring and heavy breating could be heard from the various points in the room where the exausted men had made their pallets. Every man in the room was asleep, except for one. Tsu used an old trick that he had learned when he attended advanced tactical training to remain alert, even though he was tired down to the core. His many years of experience had taught him to trust his hunches, and he had a hunch that Teaos may be in danger tonight. So, like any good starfleet security specialist, he had armed himself early on, and after everyone fell asleep, he found a concealed place under a work station where the shadows would conceal him, while he stood his lonely midnight vigil. Glancing at his chronomitor, he saw it was 0300 hours. He would be waking everyone up in a couple of hours, and then hopefully, could nail these founder bastards before anyone died.
"Then," Tsu thought to himself, "Son of a Bitch must pay." Suddenly, he heard a soft clang, like a footfall on the far side of the room. Not wanting to break covor, Tsu low crawled slightly out from under the station to try and spot where the sound came from. Suddenly, he felt two sharp stabbing pains in either side of his back, and as he drew breath to try and scream, he gagged on his own blood which suddenly was rushing out of his mouth, and filling his windpipe, effectively silencing him. Weakly, he rolled over and tried to bring his weapon to bear, but his strength desterted him.
As his vision narrowed, he looked up at the last face he would have ever expected to see, smiling hatefully at him as he felt his life fleeing.
His last thought before death overtook him was, "YOU!?"

:: waking up, yawns and looks around the room ::
Grundig, Nick, Bob, Tsu, Roch... TSU!
Dear God, everyone wake up. Tsu's been murdered!

*looks over the body and notices something sticking out of his pocket*
Hey guys look, it looks like Tsu was a trained tactical officer. It wouldnt have been easy to bring him down...
This doenst look good for the rest of us.
Does anyone remember anyone having issues with Tsu? Did he piss anyone off?
