Re: Star Trek Online
It seems that the original designs have been altered somewhat to include new plating and modifications. The Sovereign was shown with a small torpedo pod above the engineering hull, with its struts leading to the nacelles.
Re: Star Trek Online
I'm just hoping i isn't a pay per month kinda deal... I can't afford that.

I won't be buying in that case. Unless it turns out to be fantasticaly good, but I doubt it.

Thus, why I've never played an MMORPG. I'm not paying a monthly bill for a damn video game.stitch626 wrote:I hate money making schemes.

The magazine article I read had a few screenshots, of which this is the main one:Reliant121 wrote:Not quite. Looking at the trailer, the main Fed ships that are seen that we recognize are Galaxy and Sovereign classes, but they appear to be heavily clad in armour plating. There was also a viewing of a Vor'cha class pummeling a Galaxy's nacelles to shreds.

There are a couple of ring saucer vessels, another unfamilar type, and visable in this view, far larger than the one in print, a possible, modified Galaxy. Other shots off the site show the probable pimped up Sov you mentioned. I tried to view the trailer, but my increasingly obsolete half meg broadband connection struggles with downloads these days, so I lost patience.
I suspose these ships are "sexy" so that is why they appearing in the publicity shots, but if they went to get my attention, it's the old girls like the Miranda and Exclesior that turn me on.....

Seconded. I pay once to play a game: when I first buy it in a shop. I'm not going to be paying again and again if I want to keep playing. Thus, why I've never played an MMORPG. I'm not paying a monthly bill for a damn video game.

Re: Star Trek Online
I can barely keep up here - you think I'm going to pay a monthly subscription for something I barely get a chance to play?

Re: Star Trek Online
If its a similar to Diablo's battlenet, then no problem. (it's free) But like the rest of you, I just don't think I can afford ANOTHER monthly bill.
