The Sovereign resonates so strongly with me because it incorporates the best of TNG style ships (more "streamlined" and "organic" looking lines) with classic elements from TMP era ships, namely the Constitution refit and Excelsior.

In fact, my top 3 ST ships generally alternate between the E-A, E-E and Excelsior. :mrgreen:

I'm an E-6 now,
and i just posted that b/c i resurected the topic, and found it a little ironic that my name gave me the officers rank while on ditl i was only an E-5.
