Edit: Sorry I keep spamming Bronze Age Collapse stuff. I am just too overly fascinated that there is evidence for a global societal collapse.“The peoples made a conspiracy in their islands. All at once, the lands were removed and scattered in the fray. No land could stand before their arms: from Hatti, Qode, Carchemish, Arzawa and Alashiya onward, being cut off at once. A camp was set up in Amurru. They desolated its people, and its land was like that which has never come into being. They were coming forward toward Egypt, the flame going before them. Their confederation was the Peleset, Tjeker, Shekelesh, Denyen and Weshesh, lands united. They laid their hands upon the land as far as the circuit of the earth, their hearts confident and trusting, ‘Our plans will succeed!’”
—Pharaoh Ramesses III, 12th c. BCE
The Youtube algorithm sometimes works appropriately for what I want. In our current state of pandemic, joblessness, impending homelessness, evictions currently ongoing, a global collapse seems so possible now, and I suppose others have been researching 'global collapse" leading to an uptick in the searching of lectures about the earliest known global civilization collapse. The Bronze Age Collapse was Mad Max 1200 BC. Mad Max's world collapsed because of a lack of oil, the Mediterranean civilizations collapsed because they could no longer make bronze.Tinadrin Chelnor wrote: ↑Mon Aug 03, 2020 2:15 amI have been watching this stuff a few years, there seems to be more about lately, keep it coming!

this is simultaneously impressive and disturbing. Impressive the amount of work put into it, and disturbing how well these songs mash.
What you should really be asking yourself, is how the everloving fuck are these six songs so goddamned similar, and how creatively bankrupt country music is?Nutso wrote: ↑Sat Aug 08, 2020 4:27 pmHow do people think this way?RK_Striker_JK_5 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 04, 2020 8:06 am FY8SwIvxj8o

"I can put six songs together!"
"No you can't!"
"I can do it with country songs too!"
"BULLshit!"
"And I'm done."
"...goddamn..."
I can't complain about creativity nor the lack of creativity, since I am not creative, or am also creatively bankrupt.RK_Striker_JK_5 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 09, 2020 9:48 pmWhat you should really be asking yourself, is how the everloving fuck are these six songs so goddamned similar, and how creatively bankrupt country music is?Nutso wrote: ↑Sat Aug 08, 2020 4:27 pmHow do people think this way?RK_Striker_JK_5 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 04, 2020 8:06 am FY8SwIvxj8o
