Yep. Sure are. They actually don't have vocal cords. They have an audio translation device around their neck.
How many Minbari does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
None. They always surrender right before they finish the job and never tell you why.

Mikey wrote:So are the Space Marines (at least for the short term) as long as our good apothecary can activate their mucranoid glands (see "Phase 16.") That may take too much time, though. I think without Optimus and the mecha aboard, there'll be enough room for the rest of the assault team and whatever naq-naq-who's-there they collect.

*EDIT* OK, I'll work on something today for Arawden to respond to Huron-Fel and go collect some stuff from the mine while we're figuring our exit strategy. Question for people more familiar with SG than me: the Gou'ald/Ancient ships seem to be operated somewhat psychically, is that correct? I read something about piloting the ships (Death Gliders, at least) by holding the control orb and speaking or thinking you rcommands. If that's the case, an Eldar should be able to fly it. If not, I'm sure Zanitav or someone else has some piloting experience.
Actually Marines should be able to survive for several weeks in space in armour awake, according to Wolfblade. Sorry for no post today, had a rough night. I'll try and get one up this evening.

Huron-Fel should last several years awake. Several thousand years if he is in stasis. As long as he has power then his support field will take care of him.

Oops.
Go ahead and do the post and just say it happened before mine. Deep or anyone if you want me to change my post let me know. But as it is there goes Zanitav.

Also after tomorrow I'll post the mission objectives for stop 2 and post my new character. I decided to go with Turok for Turok 2. Joshua Fireseed.

Zanitav went out like a hero, Monroe.

I got a short post up. Hope I did all right with it. Setting up some repairs for the ship. Oh... is the next one SW? If so, I've got an insane idea concerning Janeway.

I'll go ahead and reveal- next one is Half-life. I am planning a conversation between Q and the G-man and we'll have to visit a Combine controlled town to look for something. I was thinking of bringing SW into it though soon.

Think a dystopia. Aliens have conquered Earth in the Seven Hour War because they were given access to Earth via portals. The portals were allowed because of an accident in a secret government base in the first Half LIfe. Now twenty years later Earth has been changed. Sea levels lowered, most native creatures killed, humans confined into specific cities. The Overwatch, the multiverse government who is at war with Xen (creatures from first half life) and took over Earth now runs Earth using Overwatch soldiers and Civil Protection. These guys do regular beatings and executions of the population.

I'll post links each time something is mentioned for the first time in the thread. But in short its a run down world controlled by aliens via humans who serve in the Overwatch armies.
