Yes. I tried not to make it sound as if there's some sort of panel or lightshow screaming "I'M A BEACON!" but characters are allowed to notice the flashing light(s). Whether or not anything gets fixed depends on how well you convince others.
Also, if the group decides the engines are fixed, write a take-off sequence into your dialogue and I will include it in the "night' post -- if the ship takes off, the game continues in space with all the airlocking and other unfortunate deaths from the previous games

In the original game, Teaos put himself into an airlock and cycled it.

Yeah, I was the founder... Me and I don't remember who else. I think it was MM&I back when he wasn't that weird sound thing...

Ok quick question, the thingamabob cant be deactivated till night, and only by one of the specials, right? So we realy can't do anything about it....
