WRT hunting, I'm fine with it provided that it's done with the following in mind:
a) said animal is causing problems among locals (such as by attacking livestock)
b) said animal is not endangered
c) said animal is tasty.

I've never liked the idea that killing a living being could be considered a "sport." Because it's fun? It's a skill?
A challenge? It's the way things have been done for millenia? Well, so freakin' what?! I just can't believe people do this for fun! Humans have such a giant impact on Earth's ecosystem that I believe it's a moral imperative to treat it responsibly. Life isn't a game. Deer aren't toys.

I just don't see how it's a sport, unless you're hunting with nothing more than knife. Otherwise, it's just waiting for something to wander into your field of fire.

I think hunting is a very important part of maintaining a healthy ecosystem. My state's got one of the best and well funded hunting systems around. Actually more people hunt in my state than Alaska.

But I will say that you should eat the animal you kill. Don't let it go to waste.

Honestly I dont really mind any form of Hunting so long as the animal population isnt at risk.

I don't personally hunt, but It has to be done. The way life was made was so that in order to survive one must take advantage of lesser life forms, be it plant or animal.

But again, eat what you f'n kill.

I do think more people should be vegetarians because it's far more efficient to feed fruits and vegetables directly to people than it is to grow F&V, feed them to livestock, then eat the livestock. Something like 4x as efficient. Also uses less water, pollutes less air (cows are the world's #1 source of air pollution), and kills less animals.

That presumes that we exterminate the cows. Otherwise they're still going to be around to stink up the place.

And what should we do with all the species that are currently used as livestock? Let them go free? They'll all die. They're dependend on us for survival.
