Tricky business. Are you a watchmaker, or do you just do ornamental jewelry?
Hand crafted jewellery. I hate the crappy mass produced stuff you see in big retailers.
I agree. My great-grandfather was a Jeweler, and I can't stand most of that overpriced department store junk myself.

I agree. My father-in-law was a watchmaker and jeweler for many years. When I went to buy the stone for my wife's engagement ring, he looked at one - at arm's length - with no loupe or anything, and picked out a feather and two inclusions. When put under the scope, he was proved correct.

I dont work with gems a lot. Mainly silver and a few other metals.

Do you actually cast designs? I unserstand silver is relatively difficult to work with (compared to gold.)

I so some castings but generally I dont have the patience for that.

I just generally work raw silver into rings, bracelets, necklaces and random ornaments.

Silver is very soft so I suppose you could call it hard to work with. Its a differnt skill set to other metals.

Sounds like a day in the life of Dick Cheney's wife.

There's a job I wouldn't want... for several reasons.

Are you referring to his heart (which is three sizes too small  ), or what's in his pants?

It could have referred to his brain, as well. ;)

Oh, I don't know. He managed this whole Iraq plot, and most of the other things people tend to blame on Bush (AKA President Smokescreen), so I'd say he's probably pretty smart. His fine motor control is awful, though.
