Striker, I've been there, done that, and joyfully moved on. And at Wal-Mart, too. Graveyard shift is what I always called it.

Slipintheditch? That stuff is vile, and naturally you can't get anything done in the former Yugolsavia without having a couple shots with the big cheese, and every checkpoint guard along the way.

Vile isn't even the word. A shot of it goes down like a cupful of hot dirt, and does things to your brain which used to be handled with either irons or electric contacts. I guess that's why I stopped after eight shots and a six pack between 'em.

Well, the freight wasn't spread out but concentrated in two-three aisles. And I knew where most of the stuff was, too. Also... I didn't feel much pressure like on the day shifts. And time flew!
