true but it'd be nice to continue this, as another option is a total re-envisaging, new characters etc

I fully intend to keep my same character in some future RPs where circumstances allow.

Same here. I quite like my character, even if no one else does.

'Mission Alpha' is the first mission? Did Teaos give you some inside info, or something? </sarcasm>

No, I was telling Granite, who mentioned it would be nice to do another one after this.
Hence why I pointed out that this was just the first one, and that it was already planned to do others after.

well it could be that, people decide that this is just alpha testing the game mechanics and dynamics and we all start anew with different chars and vessels.
Years later, Andorian poets will describe this time as the "En'ock tu Ch'enock," roughly translated as "The calm before the inferno."<mikey, you might want to use this, its from the star trek online site

LOL
yes it is a comprehensive bio, the lest RPG i was in you had to have one like this so i had it on hand. I changed some of it of course to fit this time line.
I figured that Alpha mission meant that once this is done we get a new assignment. weather or not Minnsky stays on is to be seen.

I agree with you there, how could you possibly call this the "calm"?
We have several people running around whose alliegence we are unsure of. We have phantom invaders in the cargo bay. An unknown ship tailing us. A shuttle with two ccomplete unknows just turned up. We're in the middle of Tholian space, looking for a completely unknown enemy. And, where this real life, my character would be in serious danger of getting himself fragged.
This is calm?
