I am so stealing that to use as a "thread locked" pic.

Please do. It will add a very pleasant touch to an otherwise unpleasant experience.

Honestly?

I say it's awesome, and perfectly reflect the level of tolerance we have on this board.

Meaning that a thread we lock is, indeed, worthy of Threadus Exterminatus.

No, not honestly. I meant it as a joking example of what Sionnach would say if he had to use that pic, not that I was locking this thread.

If I had, you wouldn't have been able to make that post.

You misunderstood what I meant. I thought you were talking about the standard line to write when you lock a thread. Not lock THIS SPECIFIC thread.

I just meant it as a joke, but it really isn't bad. Although this is, after all, a Star Trek forum - maybe we should just call all locked threads "Talos IV."

The general bickering and verbal offensive level of this forum isn't reflecting Star Trek's level of grimness (which is pure shining white, except maybe DS9).

I think it's closer to WH40K, which is why I think it's extremely appropriate. If somebody go to the level to have to lock a thread or ban a user, it's Warhammer 40k-level of horror.

That would actually be pretty cool.

Okay, as for the dead body in the car for almost a year... ewww. They're in California, where the summers reach in the 100's F. That's gotta singe some nose hairs. Not only that, but wouldn't the body have been infested with all sorts of bugs, maggots, and the like? And she'd have her own flock of buzzards flying around her car. Anyone see that episode of Mythbusters where Adam and Jamey buy a '85 Corvette, put a couple of whole pig carcasses in the seats, seal the car with duct tape, then put the car in a cargo container for 6 months? When they went to open the container, they had to don breathing masks and sanitation suits, then there were maggots all over the floor of the container, and when they opened the car, everybody within 100 feet started to almost gag from the overpowering stench. The seats in the 'Vette were ruined, and when they tried to sell the car, they could only sell it as a parts car, and the stink NEVER went away from the car or the container.
