Lets just remember, as much as we might have liked the first it wasn't exactly high art.

Agreed. Great novel and great film. In fact, the only things Kubrick's made which I haven't liked were Barry Lyndon and Eyes Wide Shut.GrahamKennedy wrote:I absolutely LOVE 2001. I know it's not exactly fast paced, but it's one of the all time greats IMO.
