I think you have some idea of the current standing force projection resources available to our armed forces, even if no further funding were to come.

We could flatten them, yes, but it would leave us vulnerable strategically. Not that it matters, though; no one who poses a real threat to us is currently positioned to attack us.

They get aid from China, which keeps the place from totally falling apart; I think that's about it.

They've not had any military treaties since the end of the Cold War.

Depends what you mean by resources. The US could easily flatten the entire NK military with a single carrier and its fighter complement. Of course, that would still leave NK an existant state. Actualy taking the country down for good would require boots on the ground. And a metric fuckton of them considering that most of the population is brainwashed and there'll be massive resistance.
