PS3 has blueray, one good reason to get that. Also its not microsoft which is another huge reason to get one.

As far as I am aware, online gaming is free on PS3 too. Not that i online game at all really.

I'd rather play on PC vs any consol. Most XBox players are Halo junkies which sucks in team based games. They have the run and gun mindset which only gets the rest of the teams screwed.

Anybody played Fable 2?

Its an awsome game! I forgot to add that to the list.

I got hooked on Fable 1, so that's one of the big reasons I wanted a 360

Fable 2 is a good game, I know it can technically run forever but I found the main quest shorter than I expected. Go with Fallout 3, again not as long as I'd like but then I guess you just can't please some people

i agree with that heartily.

Fallout 3 just bored me. I'd take Fable 2 between the two.

If you wanted a long game you should look into the Total War series. Those games take months to finish for each faction. These first person games are meant for more up front action. Though its often shorter lived.

I enjoy RTS games. Balance between thinking, and fighting. I hate FPS, bores me to death.

I feel bad for Jessbird since she lives on XBox live. Most of the players she gets stuck with are total shit for brains. Granted that avg for the world but still. Online PC I have a gaming group I can trust. XBox live and Sony Live don't have such things.

Halo bores me. Games like Gears of War and Rainbow Six are fun. No respawn, no shrug off tank rounds or frags. You get killed, you don't get back up. Mission over.

Yeah, i dont mind some of the more realistic. Halo is...so so.

You should try System Shock 2.

I hear BioShock (same creators) is great; I can't wait to play it.

It's pretty decent. I rather enjoyed being able to swarm the enemy with bees from my hand!
