Thankfully, I'm really unsympathetic to criminals. Like when they get killed before they get a trial It doesn't bother me. Is that bad?

Well, yeah. Since guilt or innocence hasn't been established then it's quite possible that an innocent individual just got shanked for nothing. And not every crime warrants death either.

No, I don't mean people who have little evidence against them, I mean people that have witnesses against them, and physical evidence, and all that, I mean those that are obviously guilty. Truthfully, it all depends on if they seem completely guilty or not, if they might be innocent, then I feel bad for them.

Generally I try not get into that mindset after what happened to David Milgar but people who are obviously beyond a shadow of a doubt guilty (like caught on film eating babies) then go nuts. But I'm of the school of thought that thinks it's far worse to spend life sitting in a twelve by twelve concrete box listening to the guy next door jerking off to be far worse then death.

Certainly, but I have no problem if someone gets rid of them before the trial, I don't feel bad for them.

It's a very dangerous idea that there are people who are "obviously guilty" before a trial. There are people who have gone to trial and been convicted with a mountain of evidence against them, including confessions, only to have it shown years later that they didn't do the crime at all.

Yeah, but I'm kinda cold-hearted truthfully. So yeah, just letting my opinions be known. Which we all can do, gladly.

Unless you watch someone do something, you can't know for sure. Thats what makes guilt so hard to figure in the ME.

Of course. I am not exactly weeping over the falsely accused myself as such. But I DO have a good deal of self interest, and if I am ever falsely accused I don't really want to live in the kind of society where people are saying things like "screw it, string him up, I don't give a crap if he's innocent."

And the only way I have to make sure I live in a society that isn't like that is to not be like that myself. So...

One thing that might be 'better' for her is that instead of killing her and turning her into a martyr, she is just put in prison, and kept there for life. No reading materials, no visitors, bland meals, etc.

The only mental attack on her would be giving her a blank book,and letting her write in it. When it is full, they take it from her, and store it in storage #37. As the years and decades go by, she writes her books, and they get taken to storage. When she is finally old and dying, she is taken to a hospital, and on the way past storage #37 she sees the incinerator inside.

Yes, every time she finished a book, they took it to the room, and burned it.

The only time I'd ever feel happy about declaring someone's guilty before they've had a trial is if they were caught by the police right in the middle of dismembering the corpse. In that instance, it'd be safe to say they're guilty. In any other cases, wait 'till the results come out.

Except of cause that they may be a passing surgeon that found the body and was trying to help by performing emergency surgery. Nothing is what it seems

Okay, add to my previous statement that they were also screaming "Die you bastard!" at the top of his voice.
Then we can safely say he's guilty.

Unless of cause he was talking to the real killer.

Or you simply caught the back end of "Don't die you bastard!"
