FWIW, CNN holds it at Obama 333 to McCain 165 Electoral Votes ATM. More importantly, it was a bloodbath for the GOP in the House and Senate. We have Democrats in control of the Presidency and Congress (though not filibuster-proof)

Sorry, i should qualify that; only 9% of the precincts were reporting. Still. Idiots is an appropriate term. On the plus side, an important farm animal rights act is looking pretty good.

Looks like the Dems will get 59 senate seats. 1 short of a filiabuster proof senate.

Funny thing is that I've been watching the right wing blogs.

They think the solutution is to go even more extream right wing. Which will srew them over in the next house election in 2 years giving the Dems another boost and a massive majority in both houses allowing Obama to do sweeping changes.

His acceptance speech was ok but not great. I was expecting more of him.
