Agreed, Rochey. She can dance all she wants, but I've heard better singers.
Methinks you got your quotes a wee bit mixed up there.

There's only one Tim Curry.

And MetalHead - how could I forget the angel-voiced Amy Lee?!

Here's my list:
most boroque/classical/romantic (not such a fan of opera... yet)
Billy Joel, Barry Mannilow, Josh Groban, Beatles, Simon & Garfuncle
modern orchestra stuff... ie Star Trek music
my own music (though I would not say I am very good, just content)
some jazz

(these are just the ones I can remember now, and please excuse any mispellings... I can't spell names very well)

Something I knew before, but never knew the name of: requiem, Gabiel Fauré, pie Jesu part.

Interesting is that I am part of the foundation which runs the choir this boy belongs to. I was quite surprised to find that.

True. I guess if anyone is that interested, they could just look at my MySpace page via the link on my profile.

Right now, I'm listening to the instrumental music from Starship Creator (which is Media Player compatible). I like it. It sounds Star Trek'ish.
Does anyone know who composed it?

I'm not hugely into Catholic music, but my favortie requiem is Berlioz' Messe Solemne.

I'm listening to the group Gregorian on youtube. Their monks who do rock as chants, very cool.

I've heard some of their stuff. Pretty interesting, even if it lacks the plainsong quality of some of the earliest contrapuntal Catholic music.
