I dunno if theres an Anime version, there probably is. All i know is that one of my mates has a massive stack of Tankgirl manga.

I know of a "Tank Girl" title, on which the Lorie Petty film was based, but it seems to be different than the "Tankgirl" of which Jabber speaks.
