Oh, also, how upset yould you guys be if you found out that Jabbers had brought some technically illegal weapons on board? He was gonna give them out as a present, and they work really well... its just... something about disintergration at the second highest setting or something, i dunno. =P

As I get it (not as well as BLackstar I'm sure) they're an advanced genetically modified critter made for colonization. So they're impressive in a lot of respects.

But they aren't a Trek species, hence the whole dimensional jump thing. So I guess Blackstar is sort of like a furry taur version of Ace Rimmer, only with empathic psychic powers and more sex. And breasts...

The only illegal weapon I know of in Trek is the Varon T disrupter. Well, I guess a wide range of weapons are illegal to certain people at certain times.

EDIT: Wait maybe shi's actually from the future. Or shi's from the future in an alternate dimension. Maybe that's it.....
Who's Ace Rimmer? Sounds like a porn star.

And Sally's from the future. Blackstar is from another universe, and if anything, is from the 2330's. Or is a decendant who happens to look exactly like the original Blackstar.

There are universes where Chakats evolved naturally, usually on Chakona or Romulus(although that planet has only been seen in The Colony(I think) where there was believed to be an alien force involved with transforming humans), or on earth in Australia.

Wait, I thought you were one of the British people. Seriously if you're British and a Trek fan you should know how Ace Rimmer is. If you need a little help think Lister, the Cat, Kryten. That ring any bells?

Well Arnold was the arse. Ace Rimmer was the version of Arnold Rimmer that came from the other dimension with his small ship that had the talking AI.

Red Dwarf, what a great show. :)

Anyway, you can leave me alone now, Sunny, I've posted. :P

Oooh there's a lotta good stuff you're missing. I think I feel like the show quality dips a little after the first season but then start picking up and picking up until about the sixth season (where they actually won some awards), but it simmers down a little in the seventh season and in the eighth it gets a little softish at the end. But there are some real jems.

For those who don't know Red Dwarf is a sci-fi comedy (that Patric Stewart really likes he hosted a special for them once). Very good. They used to show it in the US too.

Thanks. Couldn't really think of much to do, so I just decided to put in some rather pointless wandering around. :)

Hurm. I did not see a food allergy problem coming..... Also I don't think that even mil spec replicaters would be that efficiant at everything. Though I do get the impression food replication is considerably easier than other things. So maybe for that Reliant would be right on.

On a side note Cech doesn't smoke plain old cigarrettes. The things are designed to bun smokelessly. For example combusting into dimers of something instead of big fat soot molecules.

Of course that would probably still leave a smell, and probably not a good one .

I was kinda hoping that the Romulan Penchant for making technology to its most efficient and compact played its part here. If not then well stuff it..

I was bored and no-one had posted in a while so I thought i'd make things a little interesting.

Talora is certainly turning into a damsil in distress character...oh well....every story needs one.

I'm sure there isn't anything cannon about Romulan replicator efficiency. It's fine to have them more efficient. As long as it's food I don't see a problem at all. And from a story perspective it gives you a reason to sneak to your shuttle. Don't worry about it.
