Starbolt's Pride Comment thread
By the way you're lose in the ship Rochey. You could do something.
If we keep the post rule it'll be important to be fairly proactive until we get mikey back. Otherwise it's really easy for the thread to get locked with two people who can't post and the rest of us waiting on them.
I still do like the 2 post rule though.

I know I'm free to do something. I'm just trying to figure out what I'm going to do. ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

Fair enough. But every post doesn't have to be epic, or set sail on the drama boat.Rochey wrote:I know I'm free to do something. I'm just trying to figure out what I'm going to do.

I mean people post in this thread like a dozen times for every post in the other. (though the alpha topic posts tend to be notably longer, still this thread is five times as long).

True. I suppose I could just get all that crap off my missiles (gee, thanks a lot Sally:P), and maybe try to fix up my ship a bit. In any case, I'm tired, so I'll leave it till tomorow. ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

Thats why you should never google stuff with the safesearch off. =pReliant121 wrote:Well i suppose so...but its always nice to see a pic...i searched it in google and it came up with some...interesting responses.
I thought ICly they were made because they're immune to pretty much every kind of toxin... because Starfleet was having trouble developing computers smart enough to react to sudden changes in the environment. The whole hermaphrodite thing was so they could breed quickly
*shrugs* I dunno, best ask Blackstar.
Oh, also, how upset yould you guys be if you found out that Jabbers had brought some technically illegal weapons on board? He was gonna give them out as a present, and they work really well... its just... something about disintergration at the second highest setting or something, i dunno. =P

Chakats are sexually compatible with humans but in no way were Chakats designed to serve humans. Chakats were to designed with a few goals in mind, 1)prove that something good can come from genetic manipulation, 2)to create the perfect taur-form and 3)to assist in post Gene wars(their equivilent of WWIII) since they were immune from most viruses and more resistant to radiation.sunnyside wrote:Chakats were made, both IC and OOC, to be able to please humans. I'm sure things with a Romulan work just fine. There is unspeakable detail on the matter out there.
As for kids Chakats are normally only capable of having them with other taurs however there are rare instances in the Chakat universe where they have kids with a biped. In the Star Trek universe they had techniques to allow cross-species mating so it might be possible. However, normally Chakats only produce Chakats, no matter the other person's species. Exceptions include our brother species the Skunktaur/Chakat-Kin and Kline's decendent hybrids. Although Stargazer will probably be a Chakat with two legs, technically. The parents from other species might influence the child's looks though. Eudora looks like a Foxtaur vixen except for the tail and herm thing, while Kline's kids always have his Hazelnut-colored eyes.

As I get it (not as well as BLackstar I'm sure) they're an advanced genetically modified critter made for colonization. So they're impressive in a lot of respects.
But they aren't a Trek species, hence the whole dimensional jump thing. So I guess Blackstar is sort of like a furry taur version of Ace Rimmer, only with empathic psychic powers and more sex. And breasts...
The only illegal weapon I know of in Trek is the Varon T disrupter. Well, I guess a wide range of weapons are illegal to certain people at certain times.
EDIT: Wait maybe shi's actually from the future. Or shi's from the future in an alternate dimension. Maybe that's it.....
