Write it up in MS Word and then copy and paste. My internet is broken too - I get periodically disconnected after 7pm, about every 2 or 3 minutes.

You're posts are quite impressive, keep them up. There's always plenty to do, just see my list of the 4 vital components. You can introduce other doctors or nurses, the EMH (maybe even get some sort of ECH!), get your characters to meet any of ours (including our secondary ones), create your own story arcs (such as your EMH project)... Plenty of stuff to do. Force the captain to have physicals...

Just do whatever you like.
Try and think from your characters POV. What does he like to do? What does he think of his crewmates? Would he like to chat with any of them? etc.

Omen - just think of your charcter's background and motivations. Like me, you are playing a non-human character. Start by poking around the 'net for cultural, etc., information on Trills; then build a backstory: why did you join Starfleet? What were your previous hosts like? What do you like, hate, fear? Then, just write some interactions with whomever you'd like!

I get periodically disconnected after 7pm, about every 2 or 3 minutes.

I can't even imagine how much that must suck. I would have broken a PC and three walls by now.

It's been like this for a bit over a year now. I broke a knuckle after I punched my old CRT monitor (good job it wasn't this LCD widescreen I've got now...). I get use to it. I got disconnected twice just writing this
