She has to make it seem like a long time to not give away the fact that she's descended from a long line of space faring werewolves.
Well I saw Lon Chaney walking with the Queen, doing the Werewolves of London.
*Walks up to Sonic with a silver tray* Your internet, sir! :D

Quoting Zevon = winning the interweb.
You loose a lot of points for not getting my reference though. ;)

Doctor Who, of course. The one that must have been largely to allow Tennant to use his own accent.

I got news yesterday that my employer, one of the country's major banks, has exercised the TUPE law within my department and outsourced our contracts to an Indian Resource management firm. Our contract terms and conditions, and pay, are guaranteed for 12 months under the law and the agreement but beyond then it becomes anyone's guess. The company's history suggests that we will be used as a learning tool to let them become familiar with Invoice Finance as it's not something they've ever done before and then cheaper workforces will be employed elsewhere.

Time to get my skates on and get out I suspect.

I've got some time so I'm hitting the CV's hard. I've had some interest from RBS and from HSBC so I shall see what I can get.

Which is a variation of the resume...

Tantamount to the same I really but CV/Curriculum Vitae is our more generally used phrase.

And it was an abbreviation I hadn't seen before. So kudos for the explanation. :)

I believe that, at least in the US, there is a distinction between a resume and a CV. As it has always been explained to me resume's are used to highlight work experience and are used primarily when seeking employment in the private work place. A CV highlights education and academic work and is used more heavily in academia. I haven't touched my resume in a couple years but I update my CV once every six months now that I'm in grad school.
