I'm sure Stuart Broad would agree with you.

How does that translate into acheivement at sporting events?Captain Seafort wrote:A cricket player, who had a very good day at the office yesterday.
BTW, even though it was literally about 20 minutes' drive from my home, I didn't go see the Haskell Invitational to watch American Pharoah. I would have loved to see that horse run... one gets a chance to see a Triple Crown winner less than once in a lifetime, but the entire area was insane with all sorts of traffic and huge amounts of horse money. I did get to see the Haskell on television, though, and that animal is abso-fucking-lutely incredible. He went from second by half a length going into the turn for home and came out of the turn four lengths in front, then opened up such a lead in the home stretch that the jockey gave him his head and let off of him to save him for his next race - and he still won by five lengths. Glad I didn't play, though - he went off at 1/9.

As of today, I've been working twelve years at Walmart. This is not a bad thing for me, mind.

About to head to Manchester England to visit my brother-in-law. Any of the brits have anything they'd particularly advise seeing/doing in the area. Mind you I'll have a wife and two daughters (8 and 5) in tow.

Just got engaged today in Copenhagen to my girlfriend of 7 years.
What does defeat mean to you?
Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

Well done. Seven years is a good stretch to be reasonably sure.Teaos wrote:Just got engaged today in Copenhagen to my girlfriend of 7 years.
