Thanks everyone. We knew it was coming. She had a stroke earlier in the year and she never really recovered from it. That and for a few years her health was declining.

I am more concerned about my grandmother at this point.

I have inly meet 3 couples in my job who have been married that long, a 50 year anniversary is pretty amazing let alone more.

Aunt Martha and her husband (who died a few years ago) were I believe getting close to their 65 wedding anniversary.

Our parents had their 50th anniversary a few years ago. I took them on a Caribbean cruise. They loved it.
