Thanks, back in high school I was the 'improving genius'. I was called that for a reason.
And Betas are my version of Zulus. Back in the Chakat universe there's this really old frieghter captain who came up with multi-purpose unmanned scout pods. They began as a craft that could be used to escape or ram an enemy vessel. Over the years he's impoved range and speed and given them Transporter systems and could set them up as transporter relays. I began working on my own version called a Beta, smaller with as of yet unknown abilities, but then the Tholian Web concept dawned on me. I could equip them to create a web to capture ships without destroying them. It's perfect for my story character(pirate hunter) and should prove to be an interesting way to make our new shuttle look vulnerable, but still have teeth. It could easily be the bait for a trap.
As for the scout's name I was thinking: Hazzard.
