Where they'd be promptly eaten by wolves.
Exactly. Farm-raised turkeys can't fly and have no survival instincts - to the point that they will drown in a rainstorm because they don't know enough to close their mouths and stop looking upwards. That's like "releasing" a handful of guppies into a sturgeon farm.
Hmm, I thought that was a myth, since turkeys don't look stright up, but would cock their heads to the side and, therefore, their mouths wouldn't be exposed to the rain.

Even if that is a myth, domestic turkey's are among the dumbest farm animals in existance. They have to be brought inside the coop or they will freeze to death, that's how dumb they are. Oh BTW Mikey, domestic turkey's can fly but only far and high enough to make it to the roof of a bungalow.

Oh, I fully agree, Kendall, they're dumbed than a post. I just think that bit about them's a myth is all.

I actually agree with the myth bit. My father raised turkey's as a boy and he has passed on many a story about turkey idiocy but never that. Hmm...lets call Mythbusters!

Ah, I'm sorry. It's the Thanksgiving special of this series. The closing quote is: "...with God as my witness....I thought Turkies could fly...."

Mmmm... Loni Anderson (in her day...)

And interestingly enough, I can fly after enough Wild Turkey.
