Now now, let's keep an eye on reality hereAaron wrote:I imagine so. Just like out there somewhere is a reliable Lancia.
How cold is it in your neck of the woods?McAvoy wrote:Cute. Anyway it didnt work. The water pushed the jar of pennies to the side which is surprising since it has to weigh at least 20 pounds.Praeothmin wrote:Will that not be a "drain" on your economy?McAvoy wrote:So my bathtub is filling up each day through the drain. Tonight I am going to put my jar of pennies on top of stopper and see what happens. Either my neighbor is going to have a fun day or I am.
At least your life isn't boring, it's full of change...
The best way to watch what happens is to leave the bathroom door a-jar...
Its probably a broken pipe outside somewhere.
Good deal.Teaos wrote:Back from the weekend with my girlfriends family. Went better than I thought it would.
Exactly. It seems to be water from my neighbors because it's not coming up when I use the dishwasher.Jim wrote:Iti s odd that the water is coming up through your tub strong enought to move the jar, but not coming up through a toilet or sink...
Well, perhaps the issue is coming from farther down the drain pipe, so when they drain their bathtub, it goes down, but since the clog is farther down, it doesn't drain fast enough and some of it comes back up your bathtub since you're lower than your neighbor...McAvoy wrote:Exactly. I have snaked it and Drano'ed it. Used a plunger and I just managed to make it drain slightly faster.
Are there trees above your roof line? It sounds like your drain's vent might be compromised.McAvoy wrote:I bought the biggest bottle I could find. So far so good. The second treatment seems to have worked.
I just find it odd I was getting rust flakes and even leaves when it was coming up from the drain.
