As an example of how we fail to stay on topic. This weeks show that we recorded last night was my topic of choice on the green fallacy. How most recycling is useless, the Prius is a joke ect. The whole show kinda turned into us hating on solar and loving nuclear.

I find the idea that people want to power the world off it a joke due to the obvious limitations of solar IE night time. But I think it is a nice supliment and good for farmers ect in the right climate.

The Jaapanese nuclear power plant being hit by that tsunami was pretty much the worst timing possible. The world was just coming round to Nuclear power, now they are shutting down plants acros Europe... where their arnt earthquakes let alone tsunamis.

Yes there are (earthquakes at least) - Italy has had some pretty nasty ones fairly recently.
