It should have been "this is the latest from Norway..." If it had been the full half-hour evening news, fine, throw in a half-minute mention at the end. When it's just a quick update, keep it relevant.

I agree, but welcome to the world. The cult of personality has long ago won over the sect of common sense. While the only news about Winehouse assuming room temperature allegedly (at this point) due to an OD is that anyone might have been surprised about it, it's likewise as ridiculous to be surprised that this took precedence in the news media over the real news.

I am not suprised at all at the coverage of her. Remember when Big Tits Nicole Smith died? Same thing. Micheal Jackson is abit different but still.
