On, the contrary, I simply don't consider anything that comes out of their mouths to be reliable. Therefore other avenues of gathering evidence will be required - such as seizing every computer and piece of paper in the office, giving it to someone other than the Met (since they've apparently been taking backhanders), and going through it with a fine toothcomb until some answers emerge.
