As has been said, every time some right-wing fringe politician comes out with a bigoted stance on homosexuality, you can start the countdown on an egg timer until that politician is exposed with a young gay intern in a highway rest stop. This is just another symptom - the big tough (overcompensating) guys won't know what to say when a "queer" gets his marksmanship pin before they do, or makes Ranger school before them.
