I assume you mean that we would be unconcious, but kept physicaly alive indefinately?
In that case, pull the plug. Death is just the next experience in life.

Fame. Immortality would become very boring after a while. And, like the story of Aurora and Tithonus, you never stated that eternal youth would coincide with that immortality.
