How many Minbari does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
None. They always surrender right before they finish the job and never tell you why.

Well not everyone is enthralled with watching grown men jog up and down a field for an hour and a half occasionally cupping their balls in a conga line.

Re: England V USA
well seeing as I think I'm the only US board member on here that actually does like football (soccer) that draw is pretty good....I'd have like it better if instead of England it had been someone more our level, but England should be a nice group partner to advance with.
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

I couldn't help thinking of Nigel Gruff in The Replacements. For those who haven't seen it - do so. Even if you don't understand American football, it's great. Gruff (Rhys Ifans) is a Welsh footballer recruited as a strike-crosser. He jogs onto the field with a cigarette in his mouth; he needs to be reminded to kick the ball over the bar, not under; and he explains his original game of "football" between 2:20 and 2:30 here.thelordharry wrote:there should only be one man in the team who occasionally saunters on for 30 seconds to make contact with the ball for a fraction of a second with his foot?

Re: England V USA
i'm such a sad anorak, have worked out which pubs for which of the group matches.
Am just concerned about the england-algeria match as combining two sets of fans with active violent minorities won't bode well, it certainly didn't in the last few ''friendlies'' involving algeria and a few staboholic fans
Just love the fact that honduras qualified and russia didn't!!! hahahahahahahahahahahaha
