Everyone gets a go. You cant not let certain countries have a go, because then someone needs to decide who doesnt get to do it, and you'll never agree to that, just because you don't want Libya to have it doesnt mean everyone thinks that way.

Nope. Otherwise the Libyans would have the presidency would they? Moreover, what grounds are there to refuse them the presidency - this is the General Assembly we're talking about, not the security council. It's a talking shop, nothing more.

Aye, I don't have much of a problem with it. It's not as though they can actualy do anything without the rest of the UN agreeing. All they can do is make the UN look even more stupid.
