Sort of makes one wonder what we'd actually attempt in real life if we didn't have an outlet like these games, huh?

Nothing beats the orks in this game. The sea of green is the best tactic in the world. Nothing but boyz as far as the eye can see!

lol, basalisks tear the orks up. >_>

Fortify a choke with a couple infantry commands, load them with guardsmen, put a few heavy weapons teams behind that, upgrade them with autocannons.. get your three basilisks, xD

eldar with their invisibility shrouds on buildings, the ability to teleport buildings, and that avatar, are fun, although i'm put off playing with them, as my toddler cousin just trashed half of a painted unit of striking scorpions (inked, washed, dry brushed...) so playing DoW will be painful lol

Ouch, that sucks.
That reminds me of the time I left a couple of packs of Gaunts in the car on a hot day.
They melted. :(

thats a tragedy, although being gaunts, just say that it was an evolutionary dead end for that subspecies lol

Oh well, plenty more where they came from.

And the sight of the most powerful of the Stargods the C'tan Nightbringer raises up to obliterate khorne, makes me giggle. ;)

They ever say who bioengineered the Orks? I heard their blood contains seeds for new Orks with DNA that has all the needed info to start a new army.

The orks were created by the Old Ones, the same as the Eldar.

And they Old Ones were killed off by the Necrons?

Not by the Necrons themselves, but by the C'Tan, which are almost omnipotent.

The only reason the Old Ones did as much damage as they did, is because inside of the necrodermis the Star God's only havel ike 1/10000th of their power, and the deceiver revealed the weakness of the nightbringer(most powerful C'Tan) to the old ones..

and the laughing god made him eat a bunch of them lol
