I take back my blanket statement. I'm reminded of Rush Holt, a congressman from New Jersey and former researcher at the National Institute for Advanced Study at Princeton University. He's a brilliant scientist turned guy-who-got-fed-up-enough-to-run-for-office.

Other than him, though, I think my statement still applies.
