Book: Titan: Over a Torrent Sea
Re: Book: Titan: Over a Torrent Sea
I was looking at those scales and shuddered at the thought of all that chafing.

the women are mighty fine.
They look like Phyllis Diller,
and walk like Frankenstein.

Thanks everyone.
They're some first rate books in my opinion. Well written and I enjoy the multitude of new and non-humanoid species in the crew. Hounds is one of my top ten favorite books.Mark wrote:Welcome to the DITL Tyrr. I can't explain my reluctance to read the series. It's kind of odd. But I really liked Destiny, so maybe I should give it a chance.

Please tell me that you're not implying they breathe different gasses at different points in their lives.Seriously, her species goes through stages of life, one where they breathe air.

They are semi amphibious.

Thanks for picking up the spare, Stitch. Yeah, air and water. Not oxygen and then... xenon.

How does Troi like Riker's old play toy aboard?

She knows, and seems fine with it as something he did before he ever knew her and he's over it now.

Well since she probably shagged her fair share oh Mermen I doubt she cares.
What does defeat mean to you?
Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

Which one? I mean statistically, Riker's explored more alien, errr, black holes, than any starship could dream to!Mark wrote:How does Troi like Riker's old play toy aboard?

And she gives birth in the book. A healthy baby daughter. The ship's doctor goes crazy and kidnaps them, though. Well, kidnaps Troi and she gives birth on some pre-warp society.
Re: Book: Titan: Over a Torrent Sea
