Well, that paticular future can't come to pass, Data is now brown bread.
It's a shame, I loved the refitted Enterprise. More so because Riker could have had another (and probably more advanced) ship, but used his pull to keep the Enterprise. And have a really big gun fitted to it.

plus there's the fact that the anomoly is gone, so if that was a viable future, and not just a simulation done by Q, it would still be off. Plus the fact that Picard told them all about that particular future, so again that will change things.

More than that even - the AGT E-D fired at least half a dozen shots in that encounter, which is good evidence that it was a Q-generated illusion.

I never liked the refit. I loved the lance, but the tri-nacelle look sorta makes it feel...unbalanced.

I agree, a third nacelle just doen't fit on that ship.
